I love this quote. Actually, I love the book as well. It is on my books to read annually so that I can refreshed with truth and perspective from those who have gone before me.
I love this quote because it is a good reminder that 99.9% of the time when I am sinning, whether it is pride or unbelief or both or everything, it is because I have wrong ideas about God. Wrong ideas about His character, His truth, His promises, His sovereignty, His power, His benevolence, His kindness, and on and on and on. How fickle and how ignorant I am to think that God is like man. God NEVER changes. NEV-ER. Period. The end.

This makes me think of a quote...and I can't remember it exactly or by whom it was said...but it is talking about the ripple affect of not having a right understanding of God. And of course, it's not a good ripple! Great posts, thanks for sharing. :)
