NA Highlights
So some highlights for me in no particular order:
1. Worship - wonderful songs with rich lyrics...also the drums were sweet...
2. Messages - I liked them all...I'll be sharing about them in later posts...
3. Meeting Carolyn McCulley...she is so nice and very funny...
4. Being with people from CCL...specifically Nicole Baker and Amanda Lewis...you ladies are dear to me and this weekend created alot of fun and wonderful moments for me...
5. Seeing friends from other SG churches and meeting some new friends as well...
I think that overall I came back from the conference refreshed and reinvigorated.

NA Family Groups
Kirk, Nate, Janelle, Amanda G., Alicia, Christie, Ashlee, and Angelo - thanks guys for sharing your lives and giving input and wisdom when I shared. I am amazed at how quickly the group meetings went, but it was clear that the Holy Spirit was working amongst us. Goes to show that God is not limited to time constraints. I definitely felt cared for by you guys in a real and genuine way whether it was greeting me in the morning, asking questions, letting me be goofy (2 steps forward, 2 steps back) when I've had no sleep, letting me know that you missed me when I didn't come to group the one time, praying for me, encouraging me, cheering me on with "Bible Knowledge" even though it was 90% athletic, 10% bible knowledge. I did find a passage more quickly than one of the pastors (Jeremy Hetrick) in the game though. That's probably not going to get me into the PC though. haha...
I hope you guys come out to 1 Single Day. It would be great to see you all and learn how God used NA in your lives over the summer. You can get to the 1 Single Day site by clicking on the link on the left and if you need the "real" reasons to come to 1 Single Day, I wrote a previous entry here.
Toodles,
NA Courtesy Ninjas
I have to say something about the NA Courtesy Ninjas... these guys rocked with their joyful, humble and timely service to us NA'ers. Some of their secret and mysterious ways:
1. Coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the morning.
2. Snacks as we waited in the mile long line for food...Lisa - did that chocolate bar taste good or what?
3. Their friendliness and their availability...they were everywhere...I don't think I walked very far without seeing a Courtesy Ninja...
4. Aviator Glasses - 'nuff said
I'm back!!
Hello everyone!I'm back from New Attitude very tired. Very tired. But a good tired. I'm so glad I took off from work!!
My hope is to communicate my experiences and thoughts about the conference here over the next couple of days.
Until then, check out the NA blog here. It has great pictures (some probably need explaining - like Courtesy Ninjas - who rocked!!) of the speakers, worship and community groups.
Before I go and try to get some much needed laundry done and get some real food - I don't think I'll eat take out or snacks for a month - I do want to express my gratefulness and gratitude to Doug Plank for leading our rag tag group to Lou-ey-ville. He was our Community Group Leader and led over a 100 attendees in our group very well in games, discussion and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. And well, I can't not thank Doug with thanking his wonderful wife, Brenda. Thank you Brenda for releasing him to serve this weekend. I know that even though he was busy and had lots of responsibilities, I know that you probably weren't far from his thoughts.
Toodles...

New Attitude
It's less than 24 hours away folks! For those going, check out the NA website here or below under "Links."
Please pray for us going to the conference with the following:
1. That our hearts would be ready to hear from God with new things to make us more like Christ and old things to strengthen our faith and resolve to be more like Christ.
2. Pray for the gospel to take fruit in people's hearts this weekend for the first time or 100th time.
3. Safety..some of us are flying or driving..and with the holiday weekend, there will be lots more people..
Toodles,
